Forest Whitcraft once said, “A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, how big my house was, or what kind of car I drove. But the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child.” This quote truly sums up my beliefs about my life. My name is Megan Sepnafski. I am a student at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. I believe that the most honorable profession one may be a part of is helping the future of our country realize their dreams and abilities, by teaching our children. I came to this University to earn a degree in Psychology and eventually earn a Doctorate in Child Psychology. As my graduation neared I knew what I really aspired to do was teach children. I have completed a Major in Psychology and a Topical Minor in the area of Juvenile Delinquency. I have been accepted into the School of Education and am earning a degree in Elementary and Middle Education, with a Spanish Teaching Minor. I am currently employed as a School Age Childcare Site Director through the YMCA and am responsible for approximately 45 wonderful children between the ages of 5 and 11 during the school year. During the summer I am the manager of a municipal swimming pool. Aside from my scholastic interests I am an avid basketball, football, hockey, and baseball fan. I love going to concerts, love art, and love the outdoors.
